• Subaru of America is proud to partner with local shelters to host pet adoption events during 2022 auto shows. Together, our goal is to find loving homes for the many shelter animals in the local community.
  • According to ASPCA, approximately 7.6 million animals enter shelters each year. Our hope is that these adoption events can raise awareness for the animals in need and ideally, them with a loving lifetime
  • This adoption event is a part of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, which is dedicated to improving the safety and well-being of animals in communities nationwide and to ultimately get animals out of shelters and into loving homes. • Subaru is committed to improving the lives of pets, including those with special needs, specifically senior dogs, amputees, visually and hearing-impaired dogs and dogs with congenital disabilities and physical challenges. During its annual Subaru Loves Pets event in October, Subaru successfully achieved adoptions for 22,961 animals, 16 percent of which were classified as dogs with special needs.
  • As the largest corporate sponsor of the ASPCA®, Subaru has donated over $28 million to the organization and impacted the lives of more than 250,000 pets nationwide.
  • We encourage all auto show attendees to visit our exhibit and consider adopting a pet. Those not looking to adopt today are invited to make a donation to help pets in the community. All donations and proceeds to our exhibit will go directly to the animals in our partner shelters.
  • “At Subaru, we look forward to opportunities that help our furry friends in need, and we want to return the unconditional love they show us each day,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Subaru of America, Inc. “We have seen great success in our adoption events at auto shows over the years, so in the spirit of bringing joy to both shelter pets and prospective owners, are excited to continue the tradition at auto shows this season.”
